1. Data controller

Who processes your personal data

The controller responsible for processing personal data is Dr. Eduardo Navarro Lara, whose practice address is Avenida William Shakespeare 4989 A, Patria Universidad, C.P. 45119, Zapopan, Jalisco.

This notice applies to data shared when requesting information, an assessment or medical care through the practice's official channels.

2. Personal data

Data that may be needed for your request

We may process identification and contact details, such as your name, phone number, email address if provided, message, preferred location and information needed to arrange an appointment.

During an assessment or medical care, information about your health, medical history, tests and clinical records may also be processed. This is sensitive data and will be used only for the relevant care and in accordance with applicable obligations. Where express consent is required, we will request it before using that data.

You do not need to send diagnoses, photographs, test results or other clinical details via WhatsApp to ask about appointment times.

Our support team uses this channel for administrative information and appointment coordination.

3. Purposes

How we use the information

Data is used to respond to requests, coordinate assessments, identify you during care, compile and follow up on clinical information where appropriate, and meet applicable professional, administrative and legal obligations.

If additional authorization is needed for a different purpose, it will be requested separately before your data is used for that purpose.

Retention periods depend on the purpose and applicable legal obligations. Erasure may be restricted where retention is required. When information is no longer needed and applicable periods have ended, it should be deleted, following a restriction period where required.

4. Access, rectification, cancellation and objection

You have control over your data

You may request access to your data, correction of inaccuracies, cancellation where applicable, or object to certain processing. You may also request restrictions on use or withdraw consent, subject to any applicable retention obligations.

To exercise these rights, submit a written request addressed to Dr. Eduardo Navarro Lara at the address in this notice. Include your name, a way to receive a response, the right you wish to exercise, a clear description of your request and documents establishing your identity or authority to act on someone else's behalf.

The office team receives and processes these requests on behalf of the controller. The same procedure can be used to request limits on the use or disclosure of your data and to withdraw consent.

A decision will be communicated within twenty business days of receipt. If approved, the request will be fulfilled within fifteen business days of the response. The law permits a single extension of either period for an equal length of time where justified.

For administrative guidance on submitting your request, call 33 2400 6471. Exercising your rights does not require sharing clinical information via WhatsApp.

5. Website and digital channels

Measurement and contact through this website

The website uses Google Tag Manager to manage tags and Google Analytics 4 to obtain statistics on browsing and interactions with contact links. These tools may use cookies or identifiers and process technical browser information, pages visited and actions taken.

The contact widget, served by Torres Creative's CRM, lets you start a WhatsApp conversation and routes information requests. The data you provide is used to address your request; clinical information is not needed to ask about appointments.

You can manage cookies and storage in your browser settings. Restricting them may affect some features and does not necessarily prevent all connections to external services. To request restrictions on the processing of your data, follow the procedure above.

Service providers may process information on their own infrastructure. A technical connection does not, by itself, constitute a legal transfer of data. Where communication to third parties does constitute such a transfer, applicable information and consent requirements must be met, subject to legal exceptions.

When using Google Maps, Doctoralia or WhatsApp, the external service's notices also apply. You can read the policies of Google, Doctoralia and WhatsApp.

Use of digital channels is voluntary. If you prefer not to share data through them, you can call or visit the practice address given in this notice.
